DD the Alfa, track the LM, and drive the shit out of the II until it eventually catches on fire.
That’s allowed as long as I don’t try to put it out, right?

Am I the only one who really doesn’t like how any of them look?

DD: Alfa
Track: 250 LM
Use the ugly third as an art installation.

DD: 250 LM
Track: Alfa
Burn: the P3/4 Clone.

A rare Ferrari P3/4 road car variant, one of the most gorgeous race cars ever made.
Quite possibly THE most gorgeous car ever rendered in metal, rubber and glass, the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale.
And a Ferrari 250 mid-engined LM, one of the first mid-engined Ferraris ever...
Keep all. Burn YOU down.

DD the Alfa, track the 250, and very reluctantly burn the Thomassima

DD: Tipo 33 Stradale
Track: Thomassima II
Burn the 250 LM with pleasure. Such a hideous car.

Sorry if you didn’t take it as jesting over-reaction hyperbole, in the spirit it was intended, and identified as a jest. If it isn’t seen in good fun, it is gone.
If you don’t think those cars are gorgeous, I do legitimately have to wonder what you possibly could find aesthetically pleasing.
Those are multi-million-dollar classics and regarded as some of the most gorgeous cars ever created by most of the industry and car enthusiasts. Milestones in automotive history.

I’ve never liked the looks of the 250 LM, the 33 Stradale looks good, but not great, and the Thomassima II looks incredible and is by far the best looking of the three Thomassimas.
DD: Thomassima
Track: 33 (because racecar underneath)
Burn: 250 LM

I was joking, I appreciate jest hyperbole as much as any hyperbole-ing jester. And I don’t know, they may be great cars, but I just have never been a fan of the long, bubbly kind of look a lot of these old sports cars went for. I also really don’t like the way covered headlights look on old cars too, which explains most of the reason I don’t like the E-Type’s looks either. Currently, the best-looking car I’ve ever seen has to be the Pagani Huayra. Every single thing about it is perfect (except the stupid mirrors and the weird seats). Running a close second would probably be the Ferrari 458 and the Tesla Model S. For the most part, I do definitely prefer the way new cars look compared to most old ones in general.

DD and track them all.
Then, get a job as a cook at your favorite restaurant and burn every meal you order for the rest of your life. If you move or get a new favorite restaurant I well get a new job there. All because you suggested burning one of these cars. Such a suggestion is probably considered a crime against humanity.

Oooooh, sassy! I like it!

Your burning does nothing to me.
But I agree. Maybe one man’s life is worth preserving these, who knows... I wish it weren’t my life, though...

That’s interesting. Do you prefer the 80s wedge shapes and straight lines over the 60s curves?
![]() 10/20/2015 at 08:31 |
|
Yeah, usually. But it’s still really hit and miss. For example I love the body of the Countach, but I still don’t like the front very much. All the straight lines can just make a car’s face completely emotionless. Same thing happened with the F40. New cars have so much more flair.

The easy answer... forego burning anything, and everybody lives to drive another day.
