This is owned by a very good friend of mine. If you need any additional info please let me know. Also, I am sure he will do an Oppo discount

Actually, this looks like a pretty good idea. Not even kidding.

I bet he put it up for $2200 so when you come in and say $2000, that will be what he was actually looking for. He’ll be satisfied, you’ll think you beat him. Everyones happy. That paint is a good excuse to do this:

I’ve always been an 850R fan, and was honestly surprised to see that there was one within two hours from me at a reasonable price. Other than the odometer, is there anything absolutely pertinent that I need to know before I even consider purchasing it? I should point out that exterior cosmetics don’t really matter to me, but interior cosmetics do (I’m weird).

So gold steelies, fender flares, rollcage, but keeping the heat and a/c, and comfortable seats? If so, I like.

The car runs and drives very well. Other than the paint and the stuck odometer there real are not any issues. The interior is great for its age and the heated seats even work. If you are interested, shoot him an email and let him know that I recommended you and he will give you a good deal on the price. The owner of the vehicle also owns the LS1 Miata that we swapped and he has extensive mechanical experience that included building the engine subframe from scratch.

Also, the post below was inspired by an engine that the owner of the Volvo and I built http://oppositelock.kinja.com/speed-on-a-bud…

Flares, alloys, lights, but stock interior. I’ll custom fab a snorkel for the intake box so it can ford water, and do some exhaust plumbing and add a short shifter, but it will otherwise be stock.

Yellow tinted, with rock shields. I’ll probably also throw on a set of mud flaps.

And when I blow up the 1.6, I know how to put a boosted Tiburon V6 in one of these.
