I understand Michigan is a strange and different place, and that your in college. But seriously quit it.

Throughout the fall I’ve seen no less less than 100 cans and bottles thrown off your back deck. If it was once or twice, I wouldn’t care, but its every single weekend. Sure the cans are annoying, but the shattered glass you put everywhere makes you guys a major assholes. But even if being a assholes isnt enough, you guys are wasting money. In Michigan you put down a deposit on bottles and cans when you buy them, if you return those bottles to a store that accepts them you get the deposit back. Those 100 can could have gotten you well on your way to another shitty 30 rack. See your asshole-ness has cost you money too.

TL;DR stop throwing glass off your back porch. You’re assholes.

There’s only one solution-

gather the glass and throw it back at them.

You actually pay the deposit up front? I always thought they just paid you money to return the bottles.

So can you pull a Kramer and actually return bottles to another state for a refund, even if there’s no proof that you put down the deposit?

Sorry this sounds stupid, but I’ve spent a lifetime seeing those cash values on bottles, but have never lived or spent much time anywhere it was actually a thing.

You can, they are starting to make ways to stop people from doing it though. But it is a major issue to retailers.

After major college games you will see people scavenge tailgating areas for cans to return. The 10 cents adds up real fast. Back when I was a lifeguard we would get upwards of around $50 by the time we got around to returning them.

Because we here in cheese land are so accepting, during the summer some people refer to our southern neighbors as a FISHTAB - Fucking Illinois ShitHead Towing A Boat.

Illinois has nothing to do with that, those people are just dicks.

Haha that’s a good one too.

I actually live in IL, but moved here from AZ only two years ago.

I just think it’s funny to call people FIBs.
