IDK if anyone here still remembers that the Volvo S60 Cross Country is on sale in the U.S., but I’d forgotten that the Subaru Outback sedan even existed until I spotted one [not the one pictured] at my apartment a few days ago. I like it.

They only sold 27 iirc in September (for the S60CC)
And that’s a Damn shame because I fucking love that car

My wife's previous car was an Outback sedan. She loved it but I always felt like Gulliver sitting in it.

I always thought one of these with the H6 would have been a fun offroad car. I don’t see why I can’t lift my LGT to this height.

I would have gone with a wagon for versatility, but if people like a sedan ....

An Outback 2.5XT sedan with the 6-speed manual would be pretty awesome IMO.

Most folks would prefer a wagon, as evidenced by the fact that the sedan got killed off. It’s true that the sedan is less utilitarian, but I find it weird in a good way; I also vastly prefer it to the SUV coupes that are offered today (though I’ve warmed up somewhat to those as well).

If you want Subaru and weird, look at the Baja.

They didn’t make those, but I agree, it would be awesome. Two toned and a little higher.
