I’ve always wanted a street circuit around my hometown, so I decided to go out and make one! I drove this route tonight, and you get basically every curve in the town. The new development on the east side is especially fun, as there is only one house out there, and some wonderful stretches of pavement.
So Oppo, what would your ideal street circuit be in your town? Or any better suggestions for my circuit? Link to my romping grounds !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

We already had one in Canberra for V8 Supercars. It was cancelled after only 3 years of running, it was deemed a waste of money by the Chief Minister. oh well.

That looks pretty fun although a bit tight with all the right angles.
Here’s my ideal one:
Green is the start/finish line.

Looks good! And it really is a shame about all of the right angles, but Iowa towns are sadly lacking in graceful curves, but on the bright side my reaction times are improving quite well!

I made that one above because of these two corners seen below.
(turn right)

There’s also a new developement area near here with some nice curved roads. Too bad they ruined it with stupidly sharp/tall road bumps...

Mine is a long circuit, but includes many memorable corners and views.
It would take about 15 mins per lap, but I wanted to include as many great roads as possible. Start/finish is at the top between the words Mountain Brook and La Paz.
Start/finish area.

That center-north part looks great!

Why bother when you can make left turns all day over here?

Before we’re 25 my friends and I are doing a loop like this on Tail of the Dragon.

25? Hell I’m 30 and I’m the youngest of our group that does this ride. 3 crotch rockets, 1 harley, and my supermoto

We’ve been in the pursuit of speed since age 5 when we built a bicycle rally cross in my back yard. We’re all 16 now, and beginning to earn our wings.

Im actually upset the city gave Belle Isle to the state. Its nicer and safer now but also means no more open race track. During the winter for years, you essentially could do what you want .... and we did.

16? Hell you got plenty of time to prepare. Be smart about it

I cheated. It isn’t exactly a street circuit. It does have 2 versions, though, oval and road.

Does it really take you three hours?

Made 2! This one has some good pretty serious elevation change especially by the police station
And now a mix of both tight winding roads and huge straights!

Speed limits were not followed. At all. We stopped at multiple overlooks too for quick breaks

Here is one I made for North San Luis Obispo County. Lots of twisty 2 lane back roads and a few high speed 2 lane highway stretches including the 101.
Here is a terrain version
Only just over 78 miles for a lap.

Damn, son, you live on a sheet of graph paper!

Tell me about it! On the bright side, if you’ve got a good internal compass, you can get anywhere on county roads and gravel without maps or directions.

Is that all corn?

Corn and soybeans. And no hills and very few curves. Maybe you’ll see the occasional tree if you’re lucky. However, there is a very alive dirt track racing culture, and everyone is a car guy in their own sense, brand loyalty is penultimate, and anyone who drives a “pretty boy truck” (Escalade EXT, Ridgeline, Avalanche) is shunned, even by non truck people (me).
