Without the handle, obviously. Rollover protection is for the weak minded and feeble.

Germany stopped selling this one (the Eos) about two of three years ago. You could still get them in Europe for a while but I think they only do the soft top cabriolet now in 1.2TSi an 1.4TSi Bluemotion petrols and 2.0TDi Bluemotion diesel.
I think it’s all they will offer it in to be honest. It’s not a performance car but a leisurely cruiser.
Though on the U.K. website we have a 2.0TSi petrol 220ps 6speed automatic Golf cabriolet GTi.

They do/did a GTI I think, of the golf cabriolet.

Ye’, just noticed on the U.K. site but it’s not on the German site so added it to the bottom of my last post a couple of minutes ago.
The GTi is only available in a 6 speed automatic 2.0TSi, which is like the new Skoda Superb, 2.0TSi available in 6 speed only while the 2.0TSi Skoda Octavia is available in manual and automatic in the Octavia vRS.
Actually that’s what Skoda needs, a good cabriolet.

Here in the States you could get an Eos with a 3.2 VR6/DSG

They tend to be smaller more economical units this side of the pond though would they still do the 3.2 for the U.S. only while a lot of VWs and it’s stable mates are putting in smaller units. The Skoda Superb Mk2 was available in the last model as a 3.6 V6 but the new model will peak out at a 2.0TSi unit.
