Build a rusty body mount.
make pattern.
bend the flanges
fit up the brace
crappily tack TIG weld then quit for the day.

Well it looks a lot better in the photo but there is tons of rust overlapped really crappily welded patches. seriously this thing is made up of like ten pieces and is really crooked from being crashed into.

That’s a clever fix for a 90deg bend. I was spoiled for a while with access to a break, and then when I had to fabricate a small piece without it it was looked like crap.

I have a crappy brake that says it will do 19” of 16gauge but its a fat flimsy liar. So I had to beat it with a hammer. Came out really nice just had to use lots of hammering and lots of clamps.
