IIRC, it was a Windsor block that was stroked to the max + pushing a lot of power through the crank and boom.

Oh yeah, the Holden bloodline gets a good representation over here. At Houston this last spring break for TX2K15, there was a whole fleet of G8’s in some level of modification. Absolutely love them.

Probably from stroking it to the max and then trying to push 500+.

It probably put a whole lot of strain on the crank + piston skirt walking and it just said “fuck this block.”
