Nice little marketing film of the Lotus 49’s first outing at Zandvoort in the 1967 Dutch Grand Prix.
Cosworth Ford was mighty proud of its new V8. The DFV went on to be a dominant force in open-wheel racing, though a Brabham-Repco BT24 actually won the title in the Cosworth’s debut season.
Would love to see Cosworth back in F1. That’s a historic name. Much like Lotus Renault.

My how times have changed. The sport was just so gosh darn classy back then... with the total lack of care towards safety as the other side of that coin.
