I’ve always been an Impala guy. (That’s my silver ‘05 in the background.) I learned to drive in a ‘77 Caprice Classic (MotorTrend Car of the Year for 1977)

I bought this ‘00 Panther in a municipal auction for $550 and I have a total of $1300 in it, registration and all. And I have come to really love the car. Drives famously, rides like a firm mattress, just a great, great car.

I wish I didn’t have to sell it, but five cars is many. I wish I could come up with even the flimsiest excuse to keep it.

It clears up the left lane. Is that good enough excuse?

San Francisco Bay Area, specifically, Hayward. No takers at $2,100. Currently, a person at my job wants it at $1,900.
