I guess the UI guys thought Burning match = energy? But, most people would associate a battery icon with energy anyway, so...
It does go away when you’re not in battery saver mode.

I can get 7/8 hours out of mine... 13 hours is impressive if it’s not 13hours of just moving the mouse around that becomes 5 hours as soon as you start something of course :)

Battery saver mode slices the CPU speed in half and cuts back on background stuff in windows to save power. That sounds like it would make this thing useless, but I’ve got chrome, Libreoffice and VLC running all at once on here. I don’t really perceive any performance loss with these apps.
I bet I’d feel it if I tried to run Hearthstone or Blender though. I’m still blown away that an Atom CPU with an embedded GPU can even attempt those things at all, never mind run them as well as this machine does. Did I mention I brought this thing for $130?!!

Yeah, bought mine from a fellow oppo member... Haswell upgraded with 8gb of ram and SSD for like 250+shipping :)
I can even edit 1080p videos (to a certain extend of course... won’t make it too complicated of an edit, but still...) and use photoshop normally, all that while getting like 7 or 8 hours of battery life... Pretty damn good.
On it right now and appart from the touchpad that sucks ass, it’s a really good little laptop!
