Been a weird week. Body clock is destroyed. I’ll never sleep again. Netflix is exhausted. On-Demand is broken. That’s my Volkswagen. I have every hobby. I’ve had a weird life. I’m very bored. AMA.

I’m watching bad stand-up comedy on Netflix. Currently watching a dude named Craig Shoemaker. Haven’t laughed yet. Sometimes you get lucky and stumble into a Fresh Prince rerun on TV Land or Nick.

Drugs aren’t my thing. I’ve tried some shit, but I have yet to find anything half as good as getting drunk.

Why is there something rather than nothing? If something can exist why then is it that it exists verses not exist. Surely nothing would be just a valid existence to something. Seeing as there little consequence for there being nothing as opposed to something since the existence there of of either form of existing wound not intervine with each other what truly do humans matter. We could as easily exist or not exist and the out side world as a whole would not but merely let out a sing sigh either way.

Eh, the only good to ever come out of science is velcro and loss less audio compression. The rest is vodoo and mucky mucky. Stay clean kid, keep your nose out of science and into a good building code enforcement manual. Learn a trade, knock up some pretty young thing, settle in the burbs, move to Florida and die with dignity. I got faith in you son, I know you got what it takes to get this done.

Why not go for a late night drive? I do that when I can’t sleep... I go in the mountains (I’m in Japan) nearby and “enjoy” :)

ha, that doesn’t help indeed :)
Since you’re getting used to these “can’t sleep let’s talk” AMAs, try not to drink next time. I don’t know if you have nice roads around your place, but you certainly do have nice cars. So go get a bit of sideways actions in the middle of nowehere if you can... You’ll come back tired and ready to sleep. :)

Can’t. Just adopted a dog last week with bad separation anxiety, so I can’t leave him alone. I’ve driven nothing but my pickup since last Thursday. The desire hurts every time I walk into the garage.

Arf, that sucks man :(
Props on the dog though! So all you need is a girlfriend to keep the dog for a couple of hours once in a while now haha

Super worth it. He’s awesome. Think I’m done with the girlfriend thing. I’ve become quite fond of the bachelor lifestyle and the money I use to maintain it.

I don’t really have a good rallying rig, and I have many good track cars, so I’ll go track track.
Unfortunately there are no good tracks near me, so I usually just end up doing autocross.

I think that what you may need is a daily activity... Something that forces you to wake up in the morning and gets you tired during the day. Retiring early is cool, but then what? If not a job, maybe just start something you like, volunteering for an animal shelter or something.
Having some kind of a rythm is nice. I work home and I’m starting to deal with this kind of problem myself... Not waking up, doing whatever the fuck I want and not being to get to bed for hours... I’m more and more thinking of getting a normal job. Not for the pay as I don’t really need it, but just to live normally and not wake up when my wife comes back from work lol...

Yeah. I’ve had insomnia my whole life, and I still have my bad nights, but I’ve pretty much learned to manage it and live with it. But now, sleeping downstairs with the dog, on a shitty air-mattress, it’s been rough the last week or so. This too shall pass.
Retirement’s weird man. Especially this early in life. I do a pretty good job of staying busy. I have a million hobbies, and it’s awesome being able to indulge in all of them on a regular basis. But yeah, with the lifestyle I’m living, rhythm is pretty much impossible.
I’m never going back though. I can probably live the rest of my life on my investments if I’m smart. But if I do go back to work, I’ll be my own boss.

I used to be able to do 40 yards in high school. But since then I blew out my knee pretty good, so I’d estimate 30.

Having movie channels is almost essentially for early AM tv.
One night I stumbled on a fantastic movie called Compliance. Easily one of the hardest movies to watch I’ve ever seen, but fantastic.
