Sidebar- I think listening to people confidently talk about how much they know about cars when every word out of their mouth is wrong is one of the true joys of being a genuine car nut, cause you’re accepting of ignorance and just smile and nod and occasionally slide in a little correction, but not enough to actually harm the potentially forming interest in cars.

Getting my girlfriend to be actually interested in cars has been a truly fun project. Lots of subtle nudging and encouragement have made their difference over the course of 5 years
