My goodness.

So, the Ursa isn’t your personal camera, is it? You’re obviously good at using it, though.

Its a work camera, I’m putting in for the new Ursa Mini soon with an extra 3 stops of DR (though with some sacrifice like no global shutter over 30p and maxing out at 60p). The truth is that in my job i rarely shoot anything other than 24, so as much fun as overcranking is, I wouldn’t use it as much as I would 15 stops of dynamic range.

Even if you don’t have a 4k screen, YouTube’s 4k bit-rate down-sampled to 1080 is higher than the 1080 bit-rate.

Always watch at the highest resolution (as long as your internet is fast enough).

Yeah, I noticed that, I also noticed that encoding happens ALOT faster and the end product looks a lot better if your source is .webm

Its a really pretty place, and it was literally 40 minutes from where I was staying. I was thinking about it while I was up there that if you want the premium Utah experience, at least a few nights should be dedicated to staying in Midway, Utah in the fall. Its unreal.

Kinja'd!!!

That little town down there is Midway. This is the top of the trail that starts with the smaller of the 2 mud puddles in the video.

Yeah, that’s not what people picture when they think of Utah.

Whats really cool about midway is that its a very scandic city, lots of Nors and Swiss, and it feels like it. Lots of farms, and waterwheels and open land, its a pretty amazing little town...Im trying to figure out how to live there.
