Kinja'd!!!

My riding season has come to an end this year.

Between mid terms, house work, a social life and the weather (its a max of 5 degrees for the rest of the week...and its only colder after that) I decided to take the last 1/2 decent day and go for one more ride. after that, it was fuel stabilizer and fresh oil and a filter for storage.

I’m not a overly happy camper. but I did finish the year with more then 40K km on the bike (final count was 40240) and this year, she doesnt have to share a cold dark garage with garbage and the silly BMW-wanna-be F800R (sorry dad, but its not a real BMW) This year, she gets the storage room inside my house at university. Nice and warm and alll to herself (though it was a bit of a mission to get the bike inside). I would have liked to keep it in the living room, But 2 out of 3 other room mates said no (not to self, get better room-mates next year) so she sits in the storage room.

I guess its back to watching videos and writing article to keep me from losing my mind. maybe go down stairs occasionally, sit on it and make BRAP noises...

Until next season, my faithful 2 wheeled friend!

Riding season here is over because the trees have dropped both “happy birthday TO THE GROUND” leaves, and little tennis-ball sized seed pod land mines.

the leaves around here make for some VERY pretty riding. just gotta keep you head up and speed down on the corners for first few times.

I’m more concerned about the seed pods. They can be hard to see in certain lighting.

Of course, the fact that it’s getting a bit chilly doesn’t exactly make me eager to brave the road hazards

Who wouldn't want a bike in the living room? Some people have no sense of interior decor! I used to keep my scooter in my living room (theft prevention, bad neighborhood). Made for a good extra seat when the couch was full.

we arent allowed chirstmas trees (stupid fire regulations in res) so I was thinking of using the LEDs in the frame and using the bike as our ‘tree’ LOL

Stay strong, you will ride again. Or move out of Canada and ride year round.

That's amazing. I desperately want to bring my Harley inside for the winter but it won't fit on the elevator and I live on the fourth floor *sigh*

joking aside, I think if I can find a decent job in cali for a year or so, I might take it and see how I like it...

Do they make snow tires for sport bikes? Because that is a thing that must happen.

If it’s an old English bike, “who” would be the residents on the floor below, because they don’t appreciate the motor oil drip drip dripping from the ceiling.
