Make lemonade. If possible. With some Mazda Protege switch blanks that are the most un-blank like, BECAUSE THEY’RE COIN HOLDERS!

For reference, this is how it was:

I moved the rheostat for the dash lights over one spot, and had to trim the sides of the holes a TEENY bit to make them fit.

It’s not a new trick for me, my Mazda5 had all four blanks when I had it, and I had these same coin holders in it.

It’s the little things, y’know?

I wonder what the Mazda version of that would be.... Instant-Rust? Zoom-Zoom?

My stripper model chevy tracker actually has those little coin holders in place of the optional cruise control. Kind of nice. Now if only they had replaced the million OTHER blanks in the cabin...

Oh, I might have to do this. It bugs me that there are three blank spots around the dash dimmer.

Those look like they would fly out so easily.

They don’t. I’m not rallycrossing the thing. Yet.
