Well first off, the Empire plates looked better but they also showed off stuff about our state and then the the state went screw all of you we’re going to this stupid gold and blue scheme...

I do remember a Skyline of New York and something about Upstate on the old plates.... They looked a whole lot classier.

They had the skyline, Niagara falls, and the Adirondacks on the top banner behind where it said New York and then The Empire State on the bottom of the plates along with the state outline in the centre between the letters and numbers.
So much better than this shit.

Preach. Texas had a great plate like that with different scenes of the state:
If that was offered as a custom plate, I’d pay for it. I loved this design.
It was originally discontinued for the ugliest bunch of clip-art vomit I’d ever seen, which sadly ended up on the Lulzcer.
DMV, WERE YOU ON METH?! THIS ISN’T EVEN A COHESIVE DESIGN. ALSO, ONLY ONE TIP OF THE STATE HAS ACTUAL MOUNTAINS. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE SRS MOUNTAINS ON OUR PLATES. WE ARE NOT A MOUNTAIN STATE. COLORADO WILL LAUGH AT US, GIVE US A WEDGIE AND STEAL OUR LUNCH MONEY.
Now our plates are just boring. Feh.
Fire your design team from ‘09 onwards, Texas. Bring back the rad Space Shuttle plates.
