I think at most it helps create flow for air coming in to cool the brakes and lets that air leave.

Saw a black one Thursday at Purdue; from what I could tell it isn’t functional. But the V-logo looks really damn good there.

On other vehicles they’re typically there to expel air from the wheel arch area just because of the wheel spinning and physics and such (can you tell I’m not an engineer) but that’s really the only function I was wondering about. Sometimes they're no different from the stick-on 'mods' you get from your local auto store.

All of the vents on the CTS-V are functional. I know, we’re used to fake German vents, but yeah. It's functional.

Once sprayed a ws6 trans am this color. It turned out pretty good. I always liked pearl white caddies. Lexus and Nissan both used to have a nice pearl white too. Not sure if they still offer them.
