Sources in Southern California have caught spy pictures of what appears to be the child of the upcoming Ferrari-Toyota alliance. More pics after the jump.

As you can see, this otherwise normal-looking Prius is wearing the prancing horse shield from Maranello. This is thought to be a development mule; production versions will look even uglier.

Expect to see the Toyota Prius F and Ferrari LaPrius being available to order within 3 years from now.

To me, it seems that darker tones suit Ferraris better. Red hides most of the lines.
