This was a really cool shoot to work on. Thanks to the 289 V8 sitting practically in the footwell, my toes were toasty the entire time. And it overheated twice on us in one hour. These things really do run hot if they’re not cruising along at highway speeds!
I’m sure most here are familiar with the Tiger story so I won’t bore you with it but did you know that the inventor of Canada, Tim Horton used to own one? Not kidding, his was white.
Also, I shoot a ton of these classics so I think I’ll try rating them. Keep in mind that I don’t actually get to drive these so this is all passenger seat inferences. I’ll take suggestions for rating parameters too. Next classic shoot will be the

I enjoyed this. dang charming Canadians..
Will you find even cooler, quierkeir Canada-esque vehicles usually only awesome enough to exist in Canada (or europe) once the temperature drops?
I’m thinking Unimogs, 4x4 Toyota vans...Audi wagons, bush hardened Volvo’s and VW syncro’s...

I’m always taking suggestions! How about a Lada Niva? I’m long overdue for an off road shoot too...

Yes that would be fantastic. At WGI I once made a Russian race team owner double over in laughter when I asked him if he ever had experience with Lada’s, let alone a Niva. It was yes on both counts.

Hey Cletus,
Sorry I realized I major fudged up. That was someone elses number I didn’t want to publicly release. I’ve deleted my initial post to delete that number ASAP. The number I meant to post was 416-639-1575.
I’m sorry about that!
