It’s been almost two weeks since I arrived in the UK and I’m happy to say I’ve been settling down fairly well. Some of my flatmates are driving me up the wall with their uncleanliness and incompetence in cooking. It’s only the second week but I’ve been having lectures everyday but fortunately, most of them are interesting. I won’t be posting as often because I’ve got so much more on my hands, but I will have a clarification article about JDM vans in HK coming soon, because weekend.

Meanwhile, have this clean Ford Orion I saw at the back of the parking lot on campus.

We had these in Finland too but now they are gone. I don’t even remember when I saw the last one. Couple of clean Escorts from the same years do still exist quite near where I live.

I especially love the eight gen European Civic. It’s such a mad design that actually works very well (apart from the boot spoiler obscuring the rear window). It’s such a radially good looking car. And the interior and its digital gauges are awesome.

I remember these well from my childhood.

Glad your settling in okay. The flatmates, well you’ll either get used to them or you’ll end up jelling together anyhow. Are you in halls or renting a room in a student house? Most live in halls for the first year and then find there own feet and move to private rent student digs after that.

Yes, I’m living in one of the newest halls. There’s 11 of us all sharing one kitchen, so there’s lots of opportunities for irritation.

Ye’, the first year is the hardest. Close confines with total strangers some with strange and annoying habits but you’ll pull through and it’ll make it all the more enjoyable getting your own digs with mates in the second year.
