Is that a Lexus RX? If so, there's your answer.

You speed. The speed limit doesn’t prevent people from driving fast.

I'd like to know what kind of physics were involved for the car to end up like that. It'd also be cool to know what the driver was doing (which was evidently something other than driving).

you sir get all the stars.
I was gonna say if it’s a Lexus or Toyota badge, we don’t have to look any further for the reason. The reason was sitting behind the wheel.

Really, 35 is probably fast enough. The cable doesn’t look like it pulled out or broke, so when the car hit the front end was forced into the air.

Must have been a Hybrid. Probably thought it might charge quicker closer to the power lines

The driver was trying to go 35 vertically.

There’s a really simple fix to prevent that happening again. What you do is change the nut behind the wheel.

I don’t have photos, but once saw a car taken apart by the jaws of life. It was at an intersection with a 3 way stop and the speed limits coming in were all 25. The car was smashed into a telephone pole, and looked pretty bashed up. I assume someone ran a stop sign and there was another car that had been cleaned up before I got there.
