This is not an S-class. Instead, this is a C300 Luxury with Distronic. It’s a perfect 5/8 scale replica of an S-class, if ever I’ve seen one. I actually much prefer it to the C300 Sport.

I saw one yesterday and thought it was an S-class until I realized the scale compared to cars around it.

Aren’t all their sedans just smaller copies of the S-Class?

S-Class now stands for just ‘small’ instead of ‘small planet.’

Given the dimensions, it’s more like 7/8ths or 9/10ths, but that’s just being pedantic.
I greatly prefer the chrome schnoz on Benzed to the mesh-backed gaping maw they put on most to look like every other ca... err... to look “sporty” and “dynamic.”

It’s a good bit smaller than an S550. I agree about how classic grilles on Mercs are best grilles on Mercs.

The E-class mimics the front fascia, but has a different greenhouse and rear end. Other than that, no.

In the current generation of cars from the big three German marques, I think Mercedes has the best looking volume car - volume in either the C, 3-series, or A4. I think BMWs still have the best overall look but the S-class has serious presence, and this C-class really captures that essence despite being smaller.
