Funny when you recognize the highwater marks in hindsight.
Damnit, I miss that car.

Highwater mark
and
Forbidden Fruit in Canada.
Reminds me, there’s one in the neighborhood (LHD) that’s been re-badged. No mention of Toyota (including the steering wheel). I think it may be a case like the Ameritech/F1. Next time I’ll snap the name.

Saw the MR2 again...Turns out it’s no import special. An American import with Runabout badges. Ha!

Check the post I replied to. Saw a rebadge around the neighborhood (CAN) and thought it may be an import Co. Turns out, no.

So you’re saying Toyota didn’t bring the MK3 to Canada, if I’m reading this right?

Really? I thought the unobtainable version, ghost grey with red roof, was every market except US.
But, then, maybe they only made like twelve of them. I don’t know.

So... you’re saying you’ve seen an Ameritech F1?

We got the first 2 gens then nothing. I’ve only seen 4 on the road and all but 1 were US plates.
