T’was actually 2 days ago but it’s all good. What’s up OPPO!?!?!?!!!!!!

2 years! Seems longer than that actually lol. I would like to thank all you rad peeps here for being so... well, rad! Everyday is fresh round these parts and I really like reading and learning about what ya’ll have to say.

I think I have made good conversations with most of you. Honestly, I really don’t have too many friends. Never really did. I was the loner type since forever. Besides JalOPPaLD. I don’t have any social media. I’m so glad a place like this exists. Car culture is always on top here but you can’t ignore our awesome community. I wish I can see you all in real life at least for a split second just say hello.

As far as me, Ulysses (You Lee sis) or (Oo-lee-ses) things this year are finally on the right path after a long battle. I finally settled into my first home around this time last year. I got all the BS with immigration settled with my wife. Oh yeah duh, I got freakin married! I got all the bugs out of the clumsy Quattro Wagon. LaLD is a huuuge success! Everything about LaLD is beyond what I could of possibly imagined. Heck, we got an FP this morning. LaLD Instagram is on fire as well!

Work is steady and healthy. I’m starting to branch from our Volvo side to Aston/Lotus as an assistant manager little by little. Working long hours (shit, since I was 15 lol) but as every knows, work hard and great things will come.... unless you’re a Kardashian.

I’d like to just continue being as best as an internet friend as I can possibly be to all of you peeps. If ya’ll just need someone to talk to, i’m here. Just use the ULY Signal

Damn, I wish I could have written all of your names to send individual shout outs. It will be a long ass list but worth it because you are all F’ing rockstars in my book. To all the cool peeps I’ve meet in person in these last 2 years, trust me, it was my honor! If for some reason Jalopnik royalty reads this, keep up the good work and congrats on all the success as of late. Never change.

Congrats on your 2 years! Sounds like they’ve been tough but you’ve worked hard and it’s paid off. Don’t really have any questions for you, but I also enjoy reading your posts and kindhearted comments. I like that the majority of comments here are pleasant, and if critical they are not mean-hearted.

There was one day where it was a just completely hateful. Post after post for hate towards certain cars and car culture. I made a post where I was going to take a break from OPPO while it was in pure hate mode. All car related.

I got plenty of shirts here, not cheap, even for me lol and I ordered them for my dealer

1986 BMW 535is built in the same month I was born. It was under a tree at a junk yard for 2 years. I brought it back to life with cheap tools and made her shine in black and beige interior. Fully loaded model. It was wrecked my an ex girlfriend. I took it to a family friend’s body shop. After 6 months, the guu ran off to Mexico and the bank flattened the body shop and everything in it :’( My car may still exist but I highly doubt it

Lol, i’ve only driven 1 Miata ever. I’m due for a ride.

Someome posted a picture of fiod and I annotated it woth the famous Om Nom Nom gif. Then, back when we had a lot of NSFW lady posts, I used it on an annotation of one lady’s down stairs area... people loved it! It was an instant hit. My actual addiction to cookies is a perfect coincidence.

That’s nice to hear! I feel like I’ve been a bit neglectful of LaLD lately. It’s so hard to carve out time for taking diecast pictures with a second kid now, but I love it there so much. It’s gotta be one of the happiest places on the intrawebs.

I feel the same way about skillet cookies. I’ve never attempted to make one myself, but they are soooooo good. Ice cream is a must!

If the LaLD GT2/GT3 challenge comes to fruition, I’ll send some chocolate chip cookies with my submittion. I make them with my great grandmother’s recipe. It’s the only thing in the kitchen that I’m any good at :)

Yeah dude I think I have over a month since the last time a sat and took some pictures to post. Like I always say, even I I had an extra 8 hours in the day, things still wouldn’t get done.

LaLD GT2-Am / GT3 Spec racing will happen. I got the prized recently and they are awesome!! Once I get a little change from a job I got coming, i’ll order the pieces to make the circuit. I’ll make a post about it today hopefully.

Don’t worry, even my 5th month old has a little collection going. She doesn’t know it yet, but she does! My big girl is nearly three now, and I must say, much like her dad, she’s taking a liking to the trucks more than anything. I need to get her a Hot Wheels track!
