I went in to see if they had a 500 Abarth as it officially just arrived in Brazil, I loved it until I heard the price tag, $27,000 is just too much for something that small. I could buy 2 1970’s XJ6s for that.

If it goes like it does in the US, you’ll be able to get a $5000+ discount within 6 months.

You could buy two 70s XJ6s, but then what would you drive when they're both broken?

I think british cars might beat Italian cars in the reliability department

Keep an eye out, they may at some point get a 4C. The one near me has a red one that’s out any day it’s nice and it gives me good feels whenever I pass by.

Almost 40,000 miles on mine and so far not a single problem.

It’s an interesting question, actually. Generally I agree with you, old British stuff is probably superior in reliability than comparable Italian stuff. But if I’m talking British Leyland-era Brits vs new Italian stuff, I’ll put my money on the Italians before the lads from BL.

We still don’t get Alfas here, Fiat fucked it up during the 90’s and they never came back.

Probably, but they only had one left, not sure how long it will stay there.

Ah, stupid me skimmed over the whole Brazil thing. My bad. Either way, agreed that $27K is way overpriced for the Abarth

Same here. But supposedly you can get the 4C now, and the Giulietta is coming, I believe.

But at least Alfa is already set to enter in the US market again, we have no news about Brazil.

I don’t need a car, but my sister could get a Giulietta - our family has a Fiat/Chrysler connection, so we could get a deal. I hope she gets one.

I also don’t need a car, I could easily move around the city using the subway/uber/walking and I normally do that. The Giulietta is a great little car, I always hope to get one when Hertz tells me “Premium Hatchback" in Europe.
