This might be the cleanest first gen Rodeo in existence. There wasn’t a speck of rust, paint chips or fade, or dents on the thing. It was pretty cool to see such a clean first gen when I barely seen clean second gens anymore. (Sorry about the portrait pictures)

Then I saw a 500x, which I didn’t know was even on sale yet. I think this one’s a Trekking. It looks so much better than the 500L it’s not even funny. It’s just plain attractive actually, I like it.

I saw my first 500X yesterday, in whatever Fiat’s version of Hearing Aid Beige is called. Color sucked, but the car looked quite good.

I’ve seen multiple 500s in that color. It’s terrible.

I quite like the new 500X as well - saw my first one in person a few days ago in red, very nice! I still prefer the original 500, but if there were an AWD 5-speed version of the 500X, I’d be all over it. :)

They’re pretty cool. Decent amount of room inside. Would prefer the Renegade though.

I shared one with my 2 older brothers growing up and I started college in said 93 rodeo. The 3.2 was torquey and sounded good, the manual had long but reasonably good throws...the only demerits were the stupid way the hitch hung down, the swing away rear tire and the fact that it only had rear abs...which is opposite being useful in the snow.

Me too, in the way that you curse the very existence of it, yet can’t wait to get back to driving it.

1st gen, RWD, five speed manual, 2.6l four banger, and I’m pretty sure the white factory paintjob was the same hard-wearing enamel used on fridges and other major appliances.
