I was curious are there any apps that are similar to the Performance Data Recorder on certain GM vehicles, even if it was fairly inaccurate it might be fun to play with as long as it didn’t cost more than a couple bucks also it might be a good inexpensive learning tool?

It’s more suited to tracks, but Harry’s Lap Timer has a huge community for iOS and Android. There’s a huge database of tracks to select and paired with an OBD2 dongle you can get vehicle data overlays on the video. There are multiple versions with different features ranging from $9 to I think $99

I use Track Addict to datalog speed and g-forces when rallying. With an OBD2 dongle I could log a ton of other data as well.

You can log a lot of data from the car using torque and a bluetooth odb2 dongle, but processing that data into something cool looking requires some excel knowledge.
