This is why we in the office always use ASM for short-hand of Assembly.
Of course, the most common shorthand I’ve seen is “ASSY” which is probably even funnier.

That reminds me I need to take mine to the dealer for this. I just got the letter.

Hope that it fails so they get you new arms right away. If it passes inspection they’ll send you on your way until parts are more readily available.

Yeah I saw that in the letter, good news is it seems I have newer arms on the car already. So I’ll probably get on the wait list. I just have to find the time to take the main driving car in for a few hours.

My car has front coil spring recall on it right now. Said the road salt can corrode them and they’d just break as you were driving. That’s a scary thought.

We just did a ‘93 MX-6 that had a very old open recall. The spring breaks, then stabs the tires, and people die. The recall fix is to install guards that prevent the broken spring from stabbing the tire.
But it does not pay for replacing the broken spring(s).

Wat.
At least Nissan is replacing the front springs.

given that I’m a fan of the MX-6, that’s a scary thought.
