Or does this recessed rear window on the sixth-gen Maxima look really Citroen C5/6-ish?
In fact, a lot of Nissan’s lineup at the time was quite French.
Probably has a lot to do with their Renault-Nissan alliance.

I still love this dash. So neat. Especially the crazy black and red one. Nissan had some big balls. Taking risks, and minivans don’t really go hand in hand, but they did it anyway.

Doesn’t have the awesome concave glass though. Which is what made them so cool.

I was reading this article, and I was like, wow it kind of does seem French. And then when you said the Nissan-Renault alliance at the end, a little of the magic and mystery went away now that it’s a little explained ;-;

The Versa was built off the Renault Clio platform. There was some French influence in there.

Might be especially with the glare that cool red dash will cause.

Eew. I hate the second Citroën. No originality. The first was ugly, but it was interesting.

HAHA! I have cupholders and this one does not! I also have cruise control controls on the wheel! If only I had the really cool looking roof spoiler on the hatch.

It reminds me of a ship/airplane bridge.
