I love Scotch.
I’m currently enjoying a glass of Macallan 12-year, and earlier had a glass of The Balvenie DoubleWood (birthday present from my wife).
Scotch is best to enjoy slowly, deliberately, carefully. It’s a sophisticated beverage with many complexities and delights. It’s not for doing shots, chugging, or adding candy to it. It’s a pleasant journey, a nice winding road filled with sunny skies, earthy smells. and no traffic - a sensory fulfillment to excite the senses but not pump up the heart rate overly much.
Scotch is an Aston Martin Volante (aka roadster), the particular model dependent on the Scotch. I’d rate the Macallan as a V8 Vantage Volante,
and The Balvenie DoubleWood as an older but pristine DB9 Volante:
Well Oppoholics and Alcoholocks, what car matches your favorite Beverage?

Vodka = water in Russian...
I'd say the Accord it like cheap Japanese beer, but made domestically or something.

First thing I thought of was beer and Corvettes. Specifically good “craft” beer and the C7, both seem humdrum and typically American but they'll surprise the hell out of you in a good way. To keep it in the same state, let's say Kentucky Bourbon Barrel ale. Some surprisingly great things come from Kentucky.

What would a pre-1983 corvette be?

I mean it’s not completely fair to lump a C1 with a late model C3 but Corvettes are always like a good bourbon. Never the flashiest or strongest or most expensive, but they get the job done and have become timeless. Every class drinks bourbon, every class wants a Corvette.

I was thinking corvettes were more like moonshine. Seems like a great idea until you try it, then you’re either properly repulsed, or hooked and keep hitting it until it kills you.
•edit• and I see that you put moonshine in for the Hellcat, haha. Hellcats might be more like Everclear.

Macallan 12 with wings is indeed delightful, but if you can ever score a glass of Macallan 18...mmmm.
If Macallan 12 is a Volante, Macallan 18 is a DB4 Zagato.

Warre’s Special Reserve Port. It looks like ordinary red wine. It’s served in small portions. But packs an unexpected punch (20% ABV). It’s deemed a bit stodgy, but it’s rich in flavor while having life to it. It’s not all sweet or sour. It’s a luxurious pairing with chocolate.
The Buick Verano Turbo is much the same. It’s unassuming, but also the fastest Buick you can buy right now and available with a 6MT. It’s rich and luxurious and pleasant and a bit upscale. It gets little love for being seen as a mere stodgy dessert wine when it’s so much more. You get it in a compact size as well. Upscale, but affordable. It’s perfect.

I mainly just tolerate the taste of booze for the sake of the enjoyable side-effects, so... Old MGB?

More like super high gravity Ice beer. too cheap for the amount you get and very liable to knock you on your ass if youre not careful. Less crafted for taste and just, ‘Hey, lets see what happens if...’

Bourbon and Coke
Seen by many as low class, but secretly appreciated by most anyways. With the right quality of ingredients it can be a unique, almost elegant thing despite its reputation. Then again it’s also a great way to say:
“FUCK YEAH AND FUCK YOU TOO”
It’s a good thing.

I respect your opinions, but it’s nigh impossible for me to see the verano as anything other than a cruze with more chrome.
Warre’s sounds interesting, though, and I’d love to try it. Perhaps it might be akin to a Bravia Chaimite - especially with the “packing a punch” part?
If the cruze is Busch, the verano is Busch Copper Lager (which, I’ll admit, I haven’t tried).
Granted, compared to the crude it does have better A-pillar/side window usage. However - like the regal and lacrosse - the backseat is difficult to actually get in for anyone of adult height because of the fastback roofline - thanks CLS and VW CC! - though not as bad as a CLA. The ergonomics - especially the models with proximity keys with the center button mixed in with the center stack - are a confusing mess. The interior doesn’t feel much more special than a crude ltz which also can have the turbo and stick shift AFAIK.

Sparkling mineral water, really. Sounds like a good idea, then you taste it, and realize it’s not what you expected/wanted, and you can't get the taste from your mouth for hours.

Good Bourbon*:
Both rough and unrefined, distinctly American, born in a place of the same description.
*Good Bourbon is not filtered, flavored, or smooth. It’s just not, that’s not what Bourbon is.

I like my alcoholic drinks the same way I like mercedes benz’s: powerful
I don’t have a favorite, but If I’m at a bar I’ll probably order a Jack&Coke, A long island, a redbull&vodka (even though I dislike clear liquor. I’m a sleepy drunk), an AMF, or a whiskey sour. Hopefully not all on the same night.
