Noticed this little gem in the 944 Haynes manual this afternoon. I got a chuckle out of it.

Unfortunately no. I started a somewhat overly ambitious project of completely refurbing the rear suspension and I still have rear wheel bearings to do.

Crap, sorry, I just saw this. Don’t be too disappointed though, all you missed was a lot of hammering and cursing. I’m planning on doing motor mounts and resealing the oil cooler in a few weeks though, if you want to stop in for that. Should at least be more interesting than wheel bearings.
