The Crew actually seems tempting, really just because of the open world, and if the handling is realistic enough (not too arcadey) I might just pick it up over Dirt, but the new Dirt does looks pretty good.

The thing is I know that Dirt is def a higher quality game (plus there’s and Oppo league I think), but I really love open world driving in general. I’m just waiting for an open world game with Grid like handling (realistic, possible no-aids, but not over done like RFactor or something), with a great car selection with race cars and stuff.

The Crew had pretty choppy reviews I wouldn't bother.

Sounds like you want Forza Horizon 2 but I’m guessing you don’t have an Xbox.
The Crew has quite a few things wrong with it. For starters, most of the content is gated by a mind numbing dumb story.
The economy is a joke. Even after I completed the story I was only 1/4 of the way to being able to buy a LaFerrari.
The driving is alright as long as you turn the traction control off something I didn’t realise until I was half way through.
The car selection is up there with DriveClub as one of the worst.
But the biggest problem in my opinion is the map. I was sold on canyon roads, bayou back roads and tight city streets but nope. Mile after mile of boring motorway.
All in all. The Crew is a bad game.

Oh man I want FH or FH2 so badly, I was considering picking up a used X360 to play the first one, but an XBOne for the second would be too much for one game lol.

Yeah, I guess I’ll just go with the smarter all around option.

Did you know that if you buy a Preowned game from GameStop you can return it no questions asked within 7 days?
If not now you do! Go get it play it for 5 days, beat it and give it back. That should let you know if you actually like the game or not.

Hmmm, not a bad idea actually, but the question is: Do they have physical copies of it for PC? (I actually just bought Dirt so I’m in no hurry).

DiRT Rally is incredible! The updates and content keep coming. Plus the realism is great. I’m treating it as a rally training sim

Yeah, I decided to go with it.
Do you have a wheel? I have an old but still working G25 that’s really annoying to set up, so I don’t use it too often (I’m better in F1 with a controller, at least more used to it), but I might just bring it out again for Dirt. With Dirt 3 though, I would always miss shifts, and would have to shift into neutral and back in again, which was really annoying, but I guess it’s partially my fault :P

I use a g27 and it feels great. H pattern all the way. Does the 25 have FFB? “Feeling” the grip seems important. Also I made a league called ‘oppo’. There was one called oppositelock but it’s not active anymore

Ah yes the G25 has excellent FFB, I remember the craziest game was Colin Mcrae Rally 04 (maybe 05). You could feel the workout in your arms after a couple of stages lol.
Also, I’ll make sure to join the league! My name on Steam is Connoisseur, I’ll probably join later tonight, I don’t think I’ll have time to give anything a shot, maybe this weekend.

Cool. You should love it then. For now I’m doing 6 stages in a week
