Hand fabricated artwork for exhaust and intake. Like this amazing equal length header for, of all things, a Tundra. Or below, this custom fabbed piece of intake for an SRT/8 chrysler 300.

i heard a Tundra with some nice Exhaust work attached. It really did sound good, better than I could expect from a Toyota.

Things like that intake is what happens when there is limited aftermarket support for your vehicle. Which up till not long ago, seemed to be the case for Chryco Hemis.

And I mean that in a good way. That fabricated intake with external enrichment source is a work of art.

Reminds me of the cold start injectors on old cars.

Right, Or valve cleaning injectors on newer direct injected cars. But this isnt one of those.

[EDIT:] Reviewing the picture and it’s source, those two are at the front, the entry of the manifold. There’s injectors on each runner and up top there you have possible water-alcohol injection, or, possibly alternate fuel for very high boost applications, or, nitrous? I know that some engines running huge power need huge fuel volumes that a single injector can’t handle yet a bigger injector set up to handle that would be too much to idle and drive around normally at anything other than on boost. So, plumb in some extra injector volume and problem solved.

That makes a lot of sense. I wasnt thinking that big, power-wise, I also disregarded the possiblility of alternate fuels since its running off the same fuel rail. Thanks for resolving that.

This woudl require a surge tank most definitely than too right? When the 2 additional injectors kick in that might drop the pressure across rail with out some form of fuel deliver aid.

It was used on a supercharged SEMA car, which makes sense, because on an n/a application it’d be totally unnecessary.
