"Mercedes Streeter" (smart)

Other than screwing around with your two-four wheeled contraptions, what consumes countless hours of your free time?
For me? My hobbies are ever changing. First and foremost, I'm getting more and more involved with Trans stuff than ever before. I want to make a difference, even if it is just helping someone who is just getting started. And one of my guilty pleasures nowadays are dresses. Oh my oh my...I would raid a Torrid if I had that kind of money (and right now I do, so don't tempt me)...
— Also, I need to raid an Ulta because my makeup is no longer on point. I'm cute by day, but an oily monster by night. Thanks, work.
Next, is my addiction to repairing broken devices. Yes, I intentionally buy broken smartphones, just to repair them and do nothing important with them (usually they become action cams, dashcams, underwater cams, and project phones). I also love customizing my phones and devices (yet, I refuse to touch my iPhone 6 in such a manner).
And finally, the last of my time wasters is inventing/McGyvering things together.
Like this crazy thing:
Take a fan from a Nyko Intercooler, a useless USB, and a USB extension, and add them together? You'll get a pretty decent personal USB fan that's quiet and won't be heard on the other end of a phone call. It isn't finished, but it works! I'd rather build a cool gadget than buy one.
Plus, it looks like a cute little box fan!
I have two other things, but I'm going to be hush hush about them until I can get some sort of patent. :)

I'm an RPG nerd. While the weather is too cold/snowy for car work, I've been writing a campaign for the newest edition of Dungeons and Dragons.

I have way too many, and they're all expensive.
Fishing, rock climbing, camping, backpacking, and shooting are the three that currently occupy any time I have outside of work and automotive endeavors.
I've been getting the itch to get back into paintball and get a nice camera too (although that would end up being mainly automotive related), but both of those would be really expensive too. Why are all the best hobbies so expensive?!

I'll keep you in mind this upcoming summer. I don't play paintball a whole lot, but I usually do a huge paintball outing once a summer where we camp at CPX for the weekend. Lots of open play, interesting scenarios, and the organizer buys paint in bulk so we can buy at a discount.

Nothing legal I should be freely talking about here.
I also enjoy going to shows, tinkering about with electronics much as your self, spending time with my gf (in case she somehow reads this.. haha), gardening, Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool, home brewing, cooking and generally being a goof-ball. Oh also designing business models and writing business plans in the event I ever have the capital to move on them...

Nice! I sold both of my guns (Invert Mini and an Angel G7 Fly) a couple years ago, but when I was back in AZ at Christmas I brought back all my paintball pants, jersey, mask, hoppers, and my brother's old autococker. I'm gonna buy a pump kit for it. I want to play speedball again, and actually try to compete. It's a huge time and money commitment though, and I really want to focus on autocross this season.

I am all over the map. Photography, fishing, offroading, video games, and a lot of home improvement since I bought a house. I really like taking things and fixing them up, I typically really good at. I have built tv stands out of pallets and repaired bikes that were left by the river.

Lately, I've been making a Minecraft server (which is loser to a job in IT than a hobby I enjoy recently), building Gundam, building a theater-quality sound system out of speakers gotten for scrap (really, who scraps Harman-kardons? Why?), doodling, reading mil-SF, and biking.

Scuba diving, guns (specifically pistol and shotguns), video games (though not to the same extent that I used to play them), cooking, and photography are all things I dabble in. I'd love to get back into working with hard media like charcoal and pencils to put some of my schooling in traditional art to work, but it just hasn't happened for a while now.

Hiking and backpacking were my hobbies, but I've been sidelined by illness that might turn out to be Lyme disease (waiting on test results). Hoping to get back to that soon.
And spending all my money at Sephora and Ulta counts as a hobby, right?

Music-I'm a pianist and percussionist, although I diddle on anything with keys (we used to have an old Hammond organ in our old house for a bit, and my mom's parents had both a freaking pipe organ and harpsichord in their house, so yeah). I mainly do light classical, pop, and video game transcriptions.
Gaming-I've always been very selective with my games, so I stick to mostly mainstream Nintendo/Sony titles with a couple indie games here and there. I've got all 3 current consoles, and it's about a 50/50 split between modern and retro.
Movies-my brothers worked at an upscale indie theater for a couple years, so I had no choice but to learn to enjoy movies.
Cooking-I dabble.
Record collecting-see cooking
My apartment smells of rich Corinthian leather and fine mahogany books.

I didn't know ticketing with electronics was a hobby? It sounds like an awesome and expensive way for dash cams and stuff though!
As for me I have fair too many my passion for automobiles of course is the most expensive. I am also fond of watches. I don't have a "nice" watch yet but I often dream of an Omega, Rolex, Patek Phillippe, Longines, etc. I hate having expensive taste. I also enjoy fly fishing, shooting, kayaking, and hiking.

I love reading, I take care of 7 giant idiot horses, and I like taking pictures. I love fixing broken electronic gagets. I also love going on really long (8-15 mile) walks on sundays. There's also the entire anime thing.

I have things that i like to do, but most of those went out the window the second I had kids. Now, I like to sleep if I have spare time. (Exciting, I know) it's just such a rare thing to have the luxury of time for that.

What consumes countless hours of my free time? I, like you, love to tear apart broken things to see if I can fix them. If I can't well... they were broken anyway.
Tinkering with motorcycles.
Consuming beer.

Music (bassist), fishing (some fresh, mostly salt), cycling (raced BMX as a kid, road bikes as an adult, managed a bike shop, full shop in the basement).
And I have two teenage boys I have to ride heard on. I don't know if that qualifies as an actually hobby, but there ya go.

Hiking, cooking, antiquing I guess? We got to lots of estate sales and collect lots of cool shit for what it's worth.
Also photography and urban exploration, preferably at the same time. I recently got into film photography and have been shooting and developing my own film for almost two years now.
