Literally. I volunteered to accept a four hour layover in exchange for a travel voucher and the chance to get a beer and food at Denver international. And though I've said so before, I will continue to recommend Root Down in terminal C. Great food, great beer, slightly pricy, but it's an airport, and if you are going to spending a bit anyway, it may as well all be good.
Mmmmm... Salvation (Avery).

I grabbed a burger at Root Down last time I was there. I had Beastie Boys stuck in my head the whole time.

I eat at Root Down every time I visit. I'm visiting this week so I'll probably be there again. I love that pace.

Ill take anything over Philly or Newark. Oh and that time "sleeping" (passed out drunk) in LAX didn't leave a fond memory. DEN sure ain't bad. I have a coworker who is landing in about 20 minutes to drive up to Cheyenne. He is going to be in a world of hurt coming back tomorrow to the northeast.

$400. Plus a tiny fraction of my resulting bill for eating lunch here, but every bit helps. If I were traveling to ATL I would have got a much bigger voucher (LOL). I'm not in a hurry today, as long as I get there, I'll be fine.

It's really a great place, and I've never had to wait for a table or food. They can (when needed) get you in and out in like 15-20 minutes with quality food and beer. That place is amazing. I love them.

I had an Avery last week that I really loved.
Check my Untappd for it. It was a bomber

Their beer though! They really changed my opinion on airport dining.

With my normal travel route I'm getting stuck at either DEN, ORD, or SFO. DEN is ok for a couple hours but kind of sucks to sleep in. SFO is best for in-airport overnights (go to the international terminal, it's nice!). ORD is best for hotel overnights because they have the on-premises Hilton and they hold rooms for frequent travelers when there's big weather messes on the east coast.

I was stuck here back in May, and then again coming back at the end of that week. Ate / drank at Root Down both times. I'm a solid 3/3 so far. I may just start scheduling a layover here so that I can come by. =)

I've been there about 15-20 times in the past year. It's great when you don't have to spend your own money!

Absolutely . Though, If I come through when I'm not on business, I'll probably end up eating there as well.

Yeah. It was a toss up between Rev and Salvation. Hadn't had Salvation in years, so I went with that.
