...and they're those little cookie elves.
After last night's episode, I burned 2 hours on the internets searching for an old RR Classic. It's like Adam Reed knows me too well. Anyone have this problem with the show or any other TV series?

I did too, the problem is I have know of quiet a few ones in decent shape so the temptation is even harder. The only thing stopping me is that I want to get a Series truck first and they're way more expensive now days.

Most are pretty good. Like any Rover, they have their faults. I'd own one, but I've been told I'm a glutton for punishment with cars.

They're good, but in most cases you're catching up on maintenance so initial investment is a little higher. One you sort out PO issues you shouldn't have anymore problems (not anymore than your average 30 year old car at least). The 3.9 V8 is a dependable engine if maintained properly. The only thing I don't like is bleeding the brakes, they have multiple bleed screws on each caliper.

They are like magic carpets off the road, with or without trailer, it's insane how good they are there. On the road isn't uncomfortable either, but steering depressingly vague, so you won't find it relaxing to go brisk. The're also prety comfortable a nice place to spend time, and i even like their style.
Of course build quality is iffy at best, so even though everything is available, at the very least via post from GB, but you might end up with a part that don't fit, because the worker decided to drill the hole elswhere.... yes, it can be that bad.
In short: yes, i would.

If/when I ever have a Range Rover, I'd have to have at least a small cubby or bin stocked with gum now, thanks to that.
Just in case.
