I have been on an outlaw country kick, mainly walyon jennings, jerry reed, hank williams jr, Charlie Daniels, along with some classic rock (stones, the clash etc.) thrown into the mix.

I saw Charlie Daniels live once. It was awesome.

I'm still convinced that someone needs to write a musical based off of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia."

I've been re-visiting my Band of Susans collection the past couple of days. Awesome catchy but kinda droney NYC band from the late 80s/early 90s.

The main dude from the band was a big AMC Rambler/Marlin fan, here's their last album cover:

Tenacious D did a rip off of it in their movie pick of destiny. I thought it was pretty funny but I agree a devil went down to Georgia musical could be pretty good. As long as they keep it pretty country and without broadway people ruining it by sing-talking the whole way through it.
