Quickride: My Friend's Garage.

The last time i visited his garage, i saw a Fantastic Toyota Century. 2 of them. But now things are changing, a bit. Here's some pictures.

You see, i have a friend who owns a small garage who specialize on restoring old cars, no matter how bad they looks, or how absurd they are, he might be able to restore it to top condition.

Even if the car in question looks like this poor Nissan Skyline GT-S T R32. As long as you had the monies, that is.

Poor Skyline. And oh, more cars need rear-windshield wipers.

When i first enter the main building, i saw this. Something hidden under the cover. At first, i wonder what this is could be. From it's shape it looks like a 911.

And it was a 911. But not the 911 i was expecting. It was a freaking GT2!

Too bad it was in such a poor shape. But he intends to rebuilt it to at least road-worthy again.

And then, in the back, there was this. bunch of evos, waiting for some engine tuning. But when you see the left part of the garage, there's...

Ford RS200 Evolution! The story was, he got the RS200 from a man who buys a car from the son of former Indonesian President. Back then, that man, mr Tommy Soeharto, really loves rally cars. He collects all the street-legal version of all rally cars, like Ford RS200 and Renault 5 Turbo, up until 1998, when his father's regime ended. The problem was, this car has no engine and interiors yet. But he promise will told me when the RS200 finishes. Can't wait!

Apparently the Fujiwara's also uses his garage to tune his car. Sort of.

And a nice R33 out there. Too bad this is not a GT-R.

More Evos. And a Hyundai, of all the things. Now let's enter the rearmost building, where costumer took his cars. He said he had a nearly finished fairlady inside.

I have to say, it looks fantastic. Part of it because i never saw an 240z before. Maybe that's just the color. I don't know.

He says it's mostly bone stock. Except the brakes and some go-fast mods in the engine.

He still needs the stock-looking rims though, and some interior cleaning, but other than that he said it's almost road-worthy.

Seriously, there's so much gem inside his garage. I should pay a visit there more often. When the RS200 is finished, i'll visit that place again. Heck, if i could i would live there :D

Fun fact: The VIN plate bolted on that RS200 EVO is apparently a VIN plate taken straight from the Sierra Sapphire Cosworth, not the original plate from the RS200 itself.

Another fun fact: The interior is in a preserved condition; It even had a torque split lever and RECARO seats!

Also another fun fact: The only thing the owner wants to fix (as of now) are the brake sets.

Most-likely-to-be-questioned fact: I talked to the mechanic that took care of the car, and the engine itself was said to run properly.....
