I think you need to be approved by a mod first. First you need to find one of the "Club Openings" posts. Ask on there, but take note that they don't just hand out posting privileges upon request anymore. They probably look at your posting history before bestowing said privileges. If they don't, just keep interacting with the crowd and try again.
