do 'Murica proud and save this thing. 750 Euro, 70k km (something like 40K miles). Looks pretty damn clean right here. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! If this was in the USA for a grand I would be on it right now. Dat interior sure does look make it look like the miles are right

Negatory 505, not going to Austria for a Shelby Daytona, Even France is a push distance-wise.
Durtlaang is closer.

just say it "not going to Austria for a K car"
hahaha

One would assume this was an Air Force serviceman's baby that got shipped to Germany, then lots in a poker game.
It looks like it has been indoors since 1991, but either way, check the firewall/footwells for rot.

it's the train under the sea and the 4 different countries I'd have to drive in.

Train doesn't take long and there's motorway most of the way. The other countries drive on the other side of the road, so there's that.

THE OTHER COUNTRIES ARE WRONG!

Yes, but it's terribly hard to change them.
Samoa went left some years ago, so the precedent is there.

I'm not sure how proud 'Murica would be considering it's a k-car. Yeah, it's the Shelby one, but it's still a FWD malaise-mobile.

if it was for sale for a grand over here, would you drive it?

Looks surprisingly solid. If it's as well cared for as the photos suggest, then 750 Euro seems like a nice deal.

Might consider flipping it, but as far as buying it to keep for more than a few days? I'd rather find more MR2s or maybe try a Fiero.

I'm even further away - 920 miles. Probably not worth the drive. :P

I wonder how much it would cost to bring home?! I'd love to give it a home in my garage!

Neat you're in Shoreham? I'm just out the other side of East Grinstead :) we need more UK opponauts.

I'm going Skiing in Vorarlberg in March. If it's still there I'll pick it up for you.

at the low end you are looking at $1500-2000 shipping once it gets to the port, $500 entry fee plus 2,5% of the price you paid for the car. I have seen shelby stuff from the 80's going up in price, so that would likely still be worth it if it runs well and has no rust.

ha I am curious as to if it will still be there now

I'm even more curious if I'll be able to drive it home!

be a hell of a nice second car so you can keep the 2002 in the garage when the weather is foul!

My old man had an ES 2.2 Turbo (Dodge Shadow in the US if I remember correct) back in the days, it took off incredibly fast. Somehow I don't remember it for being a good car though. It will still be there in march, don't worry.

yup, my mom had an N/A sundance automatic that was fairly quick and really good at reverse donuts. Was an ok car till the head gasket went

2.2 Turbo Manuèl, of course!!! It's still Euroland. I just kept on looking at the dash thinking 'why do I like this car so much with all this tacky plastic around!' In a few years time you never saw one again over here, very few survived. Probably for a reason.
