So I washed and waxed the Fusion. I also took a bunch of pictures.

Some of the "artsy" ones are quite terrible.

This paint has SO MUCH metal flake in it. It's ridiculous. Of course the pictures don't show it though.

Expect these pictures and some of the interior to be used in an upcoming review.

I sorta half-ass washed the Safari just to get some of the salt off of it. It's completely rust free underneath and I plan to keep it that way.

Nice. In winter around here, I only half ass wash my car too. I don't even wash the roof. I spray the car down at the coin bays for 4 minutes with just water.

Reason being washing your car (as I did in -5F as I did last week) it is pretty miserable and it gets dirty right away again, but taking the salt off is good.

Our neighbor trims it like that for some reason. It a plain old oak I'm pretty sure.

Came out nice! I wish we had some warming weather here, I hate not being able to detail my car and it never sees an automatic car wash so I'm just sad.

So well! 2.0T has tons of pull, steering is surprisingly informative for an electric unit, handles very well.

It's probably the best driving car I've driven. That list is short of course.

We're making them take it off when they install the new remote start system.

Oh yeah, and fix the tiny bubbles in the window tint.

It's a nice car, but I can't help but think her pre-bankruptcy GM car had more attention paid to the details. Which is shocking.

Jeez, it really sounds like they half assed a lot of things.

It's a great looking car, But from the sound of things, a more strenuous quality control process should be created.

I could make a decent list of QC issues there are. Most aren't noticeable unless you pay real close attention, but they're there.
