Ever? Not limited to OPPO.

I honestly forget, but this was my first on Fb (taken early in the morning in a cabin in West Yellowstone, and before I cut all my hair off...).

Here's another I used for many years on car forums:

You can tell it was my first because of its resolution. Amazingly, some forums I've been to still have a max avatar resolution of 150x150. I don't even want to know how old their software is.

Vault-Boy has been my go-to Internet avatar since... jeez, 2008, when Fallout 3 came out. Xbox, car forums, what have you. On Oppo it's just a pic of my car just for some variety.

I want to say I had a LEGO man as an avatar, though it's been so long that I can't remember where. The first forum I remember having a login for was Keenspot (webcomics, etc.) ca. 2003, but I'm pretty sure this was before that.

MY 1st avatar was on RacingNewMexico.com back in 2001-2002 (anything before that I could not remember)

Once it became Racingsouthwest.com in 2003 my logo went to various things (i used to change it monthly especially when I became a moderator )

Yup, makes me feel old. Dad got Compuserve sometime in the late 80s. Started using the avatar (which I scanned in on his office scanner from a manga my friend got me) sometime around then. We used that and occasionally Prodigy until ~1994 to go onto their proprietary internet things. Then Mosaic happened happened and I could communicate outside of BBSs, IRC, and Compuserve. Then WOW! came out with its unlimited access to both Compuserve stuff and the internet (no per minute charges!). Then it was just the internet. Someone else had scanned a much better version of it around 1999 or so and that's what I've been using since for the most part since.

I can't remember my first ever avatar. Probably a crudely drawn penis of some desciption. That aside, my favourite Oppo avatar is username 'Bricks', who just has a picture of a brick wall. Blatent simplicity at its best.
