Stud your tires and go ice racing.

no racing of any sort in the thunder bay area. -.-'

that, and my bike is currently in-operatble (need a tire, brake pads, handle bars and maybe a new triple) AND its 1000 miles away.

no, i was (am) in the process of swapping the suspension from the stock SV650 stuff to GSX-R stuff.

but i'm ALSO keeping all of the ABS stuff on the SV, so thats makes it really, REALLY tricky. I'm (more or less) the first person to do this swap and keep the ABS. most either just do internals and leave it, or swap forks and lose the ABS.

its been set back after set back as I learned what worked, what didnt, what I did wrong and what I needed to do to fix it. The rear end actually went together perfectly fine (I also swapped brake lines to SS during this time) the suspension on the front went on fine..but getting the front brakes to work has been such a pain in the ass....then, i had to leave for school for 4 months...ahd a 2 week break, and now i'm back in school .so something that SHOULD have taken me 2-3 days, a week tops, will now take me almost a year.

but it will be sooooo worth it.

Well, the Duc dealer in town went out of business so the insurance company just wrote the check directly to me for the settlement amount (which ended up being more than I paid for it in the first place).

I'll have to bang out the repairs sometime this spring/late winter because working these 60-70hr weeks right now does not leave me a lot of time to do parts shopping. All I have purchased so far is a new bar.
