That hideous aftermarket thing those people do on GM trucks is a Brodozer. The Tundra TRD Pro is a brodozer. The Raptor is purpose built for off roading.

If you think Ferrari are concerned about losing sales to Ford, you don't know about the buying habits of the rich. Not many people are going to cross shop a Ferrari with a Ford even if said Ford is twice as good for half the price.

Purpose built or not most end up as just that. That doesn't change the fact they went full on meathead with the design. Current Z71 Colorado and previous TRD Tacos got it right, why can't ford?

What's wrong with going out there with the design on an out there truck?

The Colorado Z71 is too plain. The only thing differentiating it is a darker grille insert and some stickers on the bed.

The TRD Taco takes on nearly the same design style as the Raptor TBH.

Close. The Capri in Europe, (what this is) did come with a V4, tiny little bastard, only 1300cc I think. This is a 2.8L Cologne V6, but in Europe, they ran them with a Siamese exhaust port on both sides. Easily retro fitted into the V4 cars and actually improved scavenging. The way that little animal is, with its Cosworth pistons, longtube headers, hundreds of hours of head work and three Solex 2 barrel carbs, it made 400 horsepower. From 171 cubic inches.

Those are two of the three coolest Capris ever. The top is an Aston Martin tuned Tickford Turbo Capri, the other is my fathers JPS. And of course the Weslake powered RS2600 you pictured.

As for the Tickford, you'd think they would be rare as hens teeth, but there is a red, right hand drive version in Kingston where I live! The least car oriented city in the world. He payed 12 grand for it.

Thank you so much! All of the people on the FP seem so excited about the V6 and are critical of those who dislike it based on principle. It's the same thing with the new Raptor. I hate V6s. Kill them all with fire!!!!!!!!!!!1!!111!!!!!

Well, I still find it interesting. I can understand why it is being overshadowed, but I'm just disappointed about it. Should they have waited this long to produce it? No. Should they have revealed it on the same day as the GT? No. But that doesn't mean it should be ignored, in my opinion.

I think it's a cool car, but Ford simply outclassed the fuck out of Honda on this one. Whether or not the GT should overshadow the NSX is irrelevant, because Ford has been on their A game lately, and Honda has had its head up it's ass (not just with the NSX but as a company in general). It got overshadowed because Honda played the NSX like a bunch of amateurs. It seems as if Honda is trying to be the GM of the east. I'm not some Ford sycophant either, I'm just calling it as I see it. For the record, I would take an old NSX over either of these cars, and I prefer German or Italian to anything American or Japanese.

Thing is, over there, Capris aren't really all that special. Think of it like a European Mustang. Just better in nearly every way. I'm Ford fanboy, not a Mustang fanboy.

And over here it has very littlevalue, becauseebecause no one knows what the hell it is.
