Yeah, the Z-car was a bit in the way. It's pretty quiet though for a TF run, I'm guessing it was quite early in the day.

Yes indeed! I'm hoping to get out to Spa again this year, I haven't made it the last couple of seasons.

Does Spa have the same type of tourist days as the Ring?

They're not as frequent, but it's been 220-250 euros for a full day (usually four/five 20 min sessions).

Spa has 'public' trackdays . But these are not nearly as many as the TouristenFahrten at the Nordschleife and you'll have to contact/pay the trackday-organizer first (e.g. Bookatrack ). Untill 2000 part of the Spa track consisted of public roads.

It's epic though. I'd prefer the Norschleife in a heartbeat but if you've never done Spa: You should!

Going back there in June normally. I'll be going with my other car I rarely talk about... A 1992 Austin Mini 1000 haha

First time to bring her there, it should be fun. I'll probably rent something nice too though... :)

He is seriously quick with minimal mods....makes it easier for me to figure out my build. Minimal with more driver mod.

The Mini's are still quick! If you ever need more oopmh, time for VTEC swap :D

That is the general consensus on M3forum.net, suspension/tires/brakes and many days of practice will yeild bigger gains than any power mods. I don't plan on seriously tracking the car until about 3-4 years from now, may do a HPDE this year though.

Very true, my E36M was mostly that. I got a little crazy on the weight reduction but I think with my next build I'm going for an actual class. Less money spent on mods that won't be able to be used.

Dive right in!!! Once you start you'll be hooked.
