saw this the other day as I was driving past the dealer. Checked it out on their website and they want 19 grand for it. If only I had some disposable income. Also I wonder what person trades a Maserati in at a Ford dealer. Maybe they bought it at auction. Who knows.

I know all exotics are maintenance nightmares, but I seem to remember there was something about this model that was especially bad, maintenance-wise. Don't remember what, but I remember being told to keep away from them.

I just remember Wheeler Dealers did one of these once but I think it's called the 3200GT over there or something. I just remember it had the same back end. Thought it was an interesting car at the time lol.

A quick Google search tells me that this car eats clutches. The clutch needs to be replaced every ~15K miles, to the tune of $4K.

Not the same car, the 3200 GT has rear lights in the shape of boomerangs.

3200GT is sort of a different car. Looks pretty much the same, but has a twin-turbo 3.2 V8 instead of the NA 4.2.

Haha its not a serious thought. Not sensible for A) baby duty and B) chicago winters. I just thought it was an odd car at a dealer and I just don't see them very often. The GranTurismos and QPs are way more popular in my area

The internet price is affordable. When you get to the lot the price doubles and has an additional 30% closing fee for the paperwork.

Yup, Apparently it's "a bit" better than the horrible automated one.

Same, I was a bit disappointed to hear that also. I'd love to have one, But I'd probably drive it a bit more than 20,000 miles.

One good piece of news - the clutch for the Manuél is probably cheaper
I know the clutch for the 6MT F430 is a bit cheaper than the F1 clutch
And you could change the regular clutch yourself

Haha, He does.
I can totally imagine DCT paddles going crazy and randomly shifting to first gear at 60 mph, Lol.

It was the opposite! Which was also bad.
The dark lord robo-manuel was upshifting way too soon. Car was running bad to begin with and he kept going all the way up to 7th gear even though I was going 25 MPH. No attempts to take over with manual mode worked. The computer had taken over. It was like Skynet becoming alive.

Which car was it?

It was the E90 M3.
Should have got stick. My commute was much longer when I bought it. Now I'm close and automatics are useless.

Still a nice car! How's the Porsche doing?
If I were commuting a long distance, I'd be fine with an S4 with Tip or an M3 with the DCT. Only new though, I would refused to accept an older one like that.

It looks exactly like the one that sat at Castle Chevy in Villa Park for a long time. Maybe they dealer traded it?
