I love that thing so much and can't wait to see it actually competing

That said, I'd rather have the Nameless Rally GT-86. More power, more suspension, more crazy.

Once TMG releases full specs I'll see if I can do a write-up. I know the biggest difference is the power (the Nameless car has about twice as much), and the suspension (Nameless had no restrictions and have been able to do things like build custom chromoly subframes and use front STI control arms for the 86's rear suspension, while the FIA has stricter rules for R3 in terms of parts freedom and fabrication).

I saw nameless's posts about their suspension work. It looked really cool. I would definitely drive either given the chance. It seems like softer and more travel on the rear is key

So high spring rate, low compression, high rebound? I've read some things about rally shocks being diversive, but I'm not sure how that would affect it

I'm honestly not sure. Things like spring rates/compression/rebound are beyond my area of expertise. I do get that more travel means greater ability to absorb impacts with rocks and bumps, and softer, less violent landings, but aside from big ass shocks I don't know how they set up the cars to achieve this.

Basically the goal is to have a car that acts like this, without losing too much in the handling department
