Sure seemed like it last night.

Minding my business doin 60 in a 55 in the right lane, both the BMW and Tesla that sped past me came up behind me in my lane, and shot around me. And other traffic. Mind you, this is normally prime rush hour time, traffic was light being the day after a holiday.

It makes sense. Tesla drivers are smug. There are a few at the local C&C and they love to talk about them. Doesn't bother me, I think they are cool cars.

What song is that?

Where are you located? Sad to say, but that is standard highway driving here in the northeast, those guys are more polite than most people in my daily commute. I watched a Ford Explorer spin around in front of me and into a ditch because the driver pulled one of these "I'm an asshole so I'm going to practically clip you" passing moves... going 60 in the snow.

SE WI. I usually see one BMW, one G35, one Audi, but never a couple cars during rush hour, and never a Tesla until last night.

The Tesla definitely cut over early and din't give you as much clearance as he/she should have, but I didn't really see anything wrong with the BMW's driving? Unless the sense of speed I'm getting from the video is off, it looks like he was only doing 5-10 MPH more than you, which results in only 10-15 on an interstate with light traffic.

BMW, other than speeding, did nothing wrong. The Tesla did seem to be moving faster both IRL and on video. Still, going 65-70 in a 55 during rush hour in the dark is not the safest thing he could have been doing, especially switching lanes as he was.

There are a few Teslas here in Madison. One of them has a stupid 4C OF N8R ("force of nature") vanity plate.

I was in Burlington over the weekend and saw a Tesla there, which was surprising.

Lexus drivers are the bane of my existence...specifically those in SUVs.

This was demonstrated the other night during the snowstorm that rolled through. Brand new GX rolling along with high beams on, tailgating, not signaling and cutting through lanes, spinning wheels at lights trying to beat people.

I was next to them at the light and had enough of his crap. Snow tires ftw!

Tesla fanboys & asshats enthusiasts are always have never been douchey rude. Just look at Elon Musk. He's a regular model of nicety and goodwill.

Besides, why are you getting in the way of cars with fancy badges? They're paying that premium for a reason so they don't have to sit behind you.

Also, I am impressed that they used their turn signal.

The sheer fact that they passed on the left puts them way above the typical BMW/Audi driver in my opinion.

in this corner of NOR-CAL the Model S-es are all driven by septuagenarians that live int he Sun City nearby, so they just slide along at a sedate speed without causing too much fuss.

I admit they are a welcome sight above the awful metallic light blue and silver and gold Camrys that seem to be issued to people whom buy homes in that development.

I spend time int eh bay area too and i have yet to see an "S" being flogged or driven above the "douche" threshold.

I suspect that Wisconsin-er cant handle the high. too strong for him. Needs to cut that Pure Tesla with some Hybrid powertrain.

FYI:

The LED pattern of Model S headlights look like flattened angry cat ears.

brain worm.

At least they used their signals, this happens all the time to me with people not using their signals.

They passed ME on the left, but then continued on to pass people on the right as well, and dart in and out of traffic.
