US and German cars I know. Anything else I make up as I go along.

Can someone tell me how to take one of these and make it "stupid fast" with bolt ons? What's the recipe here?

Uh, tuning a Japanese turbo 6-cylinder isn't that different from tuning a German turbo 6-cylinder. Basic stuff: turbo upgrades, stroker kits, intake and exhaust upgrades, cams etc. RB engines have great potential and aftermarket support.

Fairly easy if you don't mind Turbo lag haha... Bigger turbo and you're good to go lol

RB20DET (first wrote SR... sorry, reflex lol) engines are very reliable engines that can easily reach around 400hp and remain daily used... But really a GTS-t is fine stock or almost stock... Bump it with an extra 50 to 100hp and you'll have an absolute blast. Even stock it's tons of fun.

I have one of these.

Exhaust, Apexi PowerFC (ecu), boost controller.

Easy cars to mod. Asian cars get easier later on, like in Subarus where you just flash the ECU.

These GTS-T skylines are only like 2800lbs so it doesn't take much to make them go "stupid fast". You could have the stock turbo rebuilt then would be fuel pump and injectors away (plus the mods above) away from 300hp. Probably need a clutch at that point too. 300+hp on a car like this is stupid fast.

On this 2l straight six I wouldn't go too big on turbo. They get super laggy. Stock or rebuilt stock with metal wheels is usually fine.

400hp RB20DET would be super laggy though.

You are right about them being fun stock for sure. Even a simple boost controll+powerfc+exhaust on stock turbo is fast on these.

Gotcha, I'd assume so. For something like this is there an easy ECU remap deal (like APR or MTM or Revo for Audis) which just instantly gets you more power? Looks like someone answered that below.

Probably but I don't think there are many Nissan specific tuners in Europe. If I were you I'd have a look at your local tuners who handle dyno testing, ecu remapping etc.
